TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE
Section A – Health and Safety

Used appropriately, a bouncing castle poses minimal risk to users and the Owner will ensure that a proper and appropriate bouncing castle will be provided and duly erected correctly. However the Hirer is responsible for all acts of occupiers liability regarding the custody, control and use of the bouncy castle until such time as the Owner dismantles and removes same. The Hirer is therefore responsible for the supervision of the equipment and will supervise same properly at all times and will permit a maximum number of children to use same at any given moment and will ensure that the users avoid wearing any footwear, clothing or carry any objects which may cause injury or damage to the equipment. No food, drink or pets will be permitted upon the equipment and the Hirer shall ensure that the equipment is not exposed to damage from heat or smoke, electric cables and that the site does not contain features or is exposed to weather to jeopardise the equipment or any users thereon.

It shall be a matter for the Hirer to assess any risks arising in relation to the usage of the equipment and take appropriate steps to avoid injury, loss or damage to any party and to avail and abide by the advice and directions of the Owner as appropriate.

Section B – Equipment

During the duration of the hire, the equipment shall not be re-let to any other party nor used for any other purpose save as a source of recreational sport for children and shall be secured. The Hirer accepts that he is liable to account for the equipment to the Owner or the value of same in the event of any loss or damage and to avail of cover under house insurance in that event.

Section C – Erection / Collection

The Hirer warrants that the site selected for the erection of the equipment is free from any condition or feature which would cause injury to any parties concerned in relation to the erection or collection or usage of the equipment and irrevocable licences the Owner to enter upon his premises for the purpose of erection of the equipment, maintenance and removal and shall permit safe passage in all events by the Owner, his servants, agents, equipment and vehicles in that regard notwithstanding that the site may be located within the curtilage of a dwelling house. The Owner warrants that the equipment provided will be of an appropriate standard and erected in a proper fashion using competent staff and that any vehicles employed will be fully insured in respect of third party risks.
